On The Renovators this week

I’ll be a guest judge on the TV show, The Renovators, this week.

It’s Episode 50 which should screen on Wednesday 21st (if my calcs are right); Channel 10.

It’s about how to make a sustainable office and making it was a lot of fun.

Don’t know how the show turns out, of course, and as I don’t watch tele if you see it you might let me know what you reckon.

Fingers crossed it works,

Michael

  1. I caught a small part of the episode – just enough to see one contestant complaining about putting a shade awning over a window, saying “I’d just stick an air conditioner in there and be done with it”. From the little I saw they seemed to just be treating “eco” as a one-episode design challenge, rather than a serious consideration for all building and renovating jobs. I turned off at that point.

Good on you for trying to get the message out, though. Hopefully some of the contestants and some of the viewers took something away from it.
