Our new shed arrives
This Friday our new garden shed arrives.
It will be in the yard of the Pine Street Creative Centre near the western boundary fence.
Any gardener will have access to it.
Now anyone will be able to get garden gear and garden at any time that suits them.
The Council officer who has made this happen, Russ Grayson, will get a lock for it and we can give the combination code to any gardener so they may gain access.
The manager of Pine Street, Jane Hooper, is getting one of the Centre’s tutors to design a garden themed mural for the shed – then get community volunteers to paint it – should look great!
The equipment bought for us by local businesses: wheelbarrows, shovels, spades, etc and the gear Council has given us – gloves, organic fertilizer, Roach Pruf, etc – can go into the shed.
We’ll need to organise this inside the shed; you know, everything in its place and a place for everything . . . . labels, notice board, contacts, etc. Time now for the artists, graphic designers, printers, etc among us to put your hands up to make the shed . . . . The Shed.
So, do come gardening with us Friday and help out with setting it up; 9 to 11 am. We’ll also do more work on the vertical garden we started making from a timber pallet Thais brought back from City Road.

I’d love to know more about the vertical garden. Do you ever post photos? My local storage yard has been happy to give me free pallets for various things and I’d be keen to give one a go. So, if it works, would you share instructions?
Hi.
I appreciate your work, once the Environment is getting passed away in so many areas of World Business.
well, I’m studying Construction Management in Portugal, and I’m doing a Final Paper Work that consists in doing some Investment Analysis in Sustainable Houses but it is very complicated to do, because I don’t have much time and I’ve to choose one single aspect of Sustainable House, that can be de Revenues or Incomings.
So I ask you if you: Do You have any Idea or Opinion to give to me? I’m getting desperate!
Thank You, Any Way!
Greetings from Portugal.
