Events for Sustainable Food book
The Sustainable Food book will be promoted by In Conversation Events where I’ll be talking with gardeners, farmers and folk who are passionate about food and who are growing, buying and supporting local farmers. I’d love to see you there, hear your story or answer your questions about how we can sustain our food in our cities and the country. The list below doesn’t include media events. I’m looking forward to the media conversations, from the first one, a chat with Genevieve Jacobs, ABC Canberra, at 2 pm Monday 29th and onwards. For further details email: food@sustainablehouse.com.au
The first event was last week where I had a conversation with Costa from Gardening Australia and the audience of Transition Bondi, Sydney; there’s a 12 minute and a 61 minute video up of that here: Here a short and long version from the conversation with Costa, filmed and edited by Pete Dowson: Short: www.youtube.com… Long: www.youtube.com…

Dear Michael just listened to you and Margaret Throsby on the ABC we are inspired! We live in Central Vic and have an orchard of 150 fruit trees and an acre and a half of permaculture, biodynamic vegie garden. We are off grid solar and water self sufficient. Do you you know of the Urban Homestead in California we think Pasadena near LA if you google you’ll find it. Keep up the good work spreading the news and “may the airways be with you” xxxMaggie and Bill McLeod ps if you are in or about Castlemaine or Newstead there are great community gardens worth a visit we would so love to meet you xxM
