65 Degree Compost
Someone put a box of free limes on the espalier fence in Peace Park. Thanks.
One of the street compost bins today measured 65 degrees (Rose on corner Rose, Myrtle, south side). Amazing.
We were slack today and knocked off early. Xavier brought some cumquat and orange marmalade he’d made from street tree harvesting and we had it with morning tea.
We took two wheelbarrows of compost from a Rose st bin (R2).
And so it goes,

Xavier, that’s a terrific mapping idea and I think we should get one going for Australia – can you have a go and email me about it, please? Thanks, Michael
What a great morning!
Michael – here’s the blog I mentioned to you earlier. About a day after I made the marmalade Clare read this blog post about public fruit jam and urban fruit picking in the U.S.! The map started up by Fallen Fruit is a brilliant idea, we should start one up for Sydney in Google Maps… we can start with the mysterious box of limes you mentioned above in Peace Park!
