Hi Michael, you probably don't recall but a few years ago, after reading your book, my partner (K) and I contacted you for advice on sustainable renovation. Inspired by your pioneering work and helpful advice (and that of others like Jerry Coleby-Williams - Bellis in Brisbane) we've now gone ahead with our renovation and it's almost done! The permaculture garden is yet to come, but we'll make a start as soon as we get back home (in 6-8 weeks). I made a website blog to document our experiences: NoSmallDreams.net

I added a link to your website in the right sidebar and an item to the list of useful publications on the links and resources page.

Thanks again for all your generous help!

Regards, BH

Dear Michael, my husband and I managed to catch your last session on Sunday during the Sustainable House Day Inspection and I wanted to let you know how you have changed our lives and regenerated our energy toward living more sustainably.

We received your book as a gift about 10 years ago and over the years have picked it up and read a bit here and there. After 2 children, several businesses and houses later we both found ourselves looking for new direction.

Michael consults with private and public sector developers and their project teams to design, specify, obtain approvals and funding for sustainable projects.

Approved projects include residential flats, offices, subdivisions, housing, infrastructure, and sustainable government policies.

Michael designed the systems, obtained approvals for, and project managed the renovation of Sydney's Sustainable House, a nineteenth century inner Sydney terrace which since 1996 has provided all its own water, sewage and energy needs.
