Dear Michael,

Firstly i'd like to congratulate you on your accomplishment of creating enough momentum to meet your dream of cooling Oz by a degree without you even here in this country, but what is to happen to all those (cough cough) who don't see things clearly as yourself and have become accustomed to flicking to your blog to borrow thoughts and idea's.

Get out there and see the world for the beauty she really is, but please take us with you and let us experience the world through your eyes as you've shared your experiences here in OZ.

If your travels involve ridding yourself from technology then send your loyal readers an old fashioned telegram which I'd be honoured to upload to this Blog, this can be one of many inherited duties if chosen to take on the ropes at the worlds first sustainable house.

There are a number i reason why I'd like to be considered to look after the sustainable house or ground zero as I like to think of it.

Firstly and not the least I love and being woken up by the chirps of birds every morning, it reminds me of my younger days when I used to visit my grand folks up in the hunter valley when they had there property, I believe your chickens would provide just that environment without having to drive 3 hours, further polluting the our sick mother (nature).

I've always enjoyed reading but find it hard as I spend most of my free time commuting to and from work each day, your home would reduce the 5 hours travelled to only one which could be spent savouring your collection of books and listening to the odd siren in the background.

However the unique voice of the Emerald City will not bother me because I will always have Mozart and Schubert to drain it out.

I have a beautiful kind hearted fiance Emma who shares the same love of the environment, and 9 month daughter Sienna who'd adore the chooks, and a bub on the way who would all prosper from ground zero.

Well I got to go now as it's time to get ready to head into work for another day, you know we can't all explore the world and fill the songs in our our heart, society has been set up to not only get us to pollute but to restrain us all from enjoying the simple things in life.

At least I get to see the stars every morning!
