I have joined every Do Not Call/Do Not Deliver list I can. It has had no effect. I recently recycled the last ones to arrive and despite telling myself it wasn’t worth the effort, was mightily peeved.

The last time I did it I phoned Sensis. A short while later a truck went by flinging White Pages into every drive. I stopped him and said “No. I have cancelled it” to which he replied “You have to take them”.

I have a theory about the website. Its like those buttons at traffic lights: you push them but they make bugger-all difference. They give you the illusion of being in control.

I shall try again – my blood pressure can’t stand the alternative.
