I used to use Goget car share but found it too expensive and shifted to My Car Club to save money.  There’s a $500 refundable deposit which Goget keeps while you use it’s services.  When I moved to My Car Club I got the money back without interest from Goget after being with that business for some four or so years.  There’s no such deposit required for My Car Club.

It’s important to have competition to enable us to choose between providers and Chippendale is lucky to have these two services here.

It’s great to be able to use a car I don’t have to clean, insure or maintain and to drive off knowing I’ll be able to park it in the space reserved for it when I return.

Research shows that one car share car replaces about 6 to 11 cars so the car share cars in Chippendale – some ten or so of them all up – have kept about 100 cars from being owned and parked in our streets.
